Check any website's AI readiness inside ChatGPT
Glippy GEO brings Glippy's GEO checker into ChatGPT. Name a website and get an interactive report: an overall GEO score and grade, 16 scored categories, which AI crawlers robots.txt blocks, whether the site publishes a sitemap and llms.txt, and a prioritised list of fixes. Then ask ChatGPT to explain the score or draft the fixes.

Built from real tool output: a full report, a quick score and a side-by-side comparison.
Get started in three steps
- Open Glippy GEO in ChatGPT and add it.
- Start a chat and name a website, for example
Check the AI readiness of example.com.
- Read the report, then ask follow-ups: what a score means, which fixes come first, or a draft of the fix itself.
What you can ask

Follow-ups that work well
The plugin ships with skills that tell ChatGPT how to work with Glippy's results, so follow-up questions get grounded answers instead of generic SEO advice.
| Ask | What you get |
|---|---|
| "What does my score mean?" | The score, the grade and each category explained in plain language, using your site's actual failing checks. |
| "Draft the top fixes." | Ready-to-paste JSON-LD, meta tags, heading outlines and robots.txt rules, with placeholders for details only you know. |
| "Which AI crawlers should I allow?" | The trade-off between training crawlers, AI search crawlers and user-triggered fetchers, plus the robots.txt rules for your choice. |
| "Write an llms.txt for my site." | A draft in the llmstxt.org format, with an honest note on how little AI models use it today. |
| "How do I compare with my competitors?" | The gaps where competitors lead, the strengths to keep, and the order to close the gaps in. |

How Glippy fetches a site
- It reads only public files of the site you name: the homepage, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, llms.txt and standard
/.well-known/discovery files. It follows no links and crawls no other pages. - Every request identifies itself as GlippyBot. If the site's robots.txt disallows GlippyBot, Glippy stops and ChatGPT tells you why.
- Results are cached for about ten minutes and each domain gets a limited number of fresh analyses, so repeated interest in one site does not turn into repeated traffic.
- It never signs in to or changes a site. Fixes are drafts for you to apply.
The plugin runs on Glippy's servers in the EU and receives only the domain names you ask about, not your name, email or conversation. Details are in the privacy policy.

Questions people ask
Is the Glippy ChatGPT plugin free?
Yes. It needs no Glippy account, no license and no sign-in. You only need ChatGPT.
Does it check every page of my site?
No. It analyses the homepage plus standard discovery files such as robots.txt, sitemap.xml, llms.txt and /.well-known/ documents. For multi-page crawls, sitemap and URL-list audits, exports and the live AI crawler access check, use the Glippy MCP server or the Chrome extension.
Why did Glippy say it could not check a site?
Glippy does not fetch a site whose robots.txt disallows GlippyBot, and a site that refuses or times out on Glippy's requests cannot be analysed. Each domain also gets a limited number of fresh analyses in a short window, and results are cached for about ten minutes. ChatGPT tells you which of these applied.
Can Glippy change my website?
No. It is read-only: it reads public files and never signs in to or edits a site. It can draft fixes such as JSON-LD, meta tags, robots.txt rules or an llms.txt for you to apply yourself.
What data does the plugin send to Glippy?
Only the domain names you ask about. Glippy does not receive your name, email address or ChatGPT conversation. The privacy policy describes exactly what is processed and where.
